The project located at 815 Oakdale Avenue primarily involved the replacement of an existing track. Improved drainage, seating, shotput and long jump area, easier access with new ADA pathways, entrance walls and gates to the stadium as well as energy-efficient lighting and electrical upgrades are also part of the renovations. Spiegelberg is used by schools across Medford for athletics and is a location for community events hence making it a Medford landmark.
